Description

This guac is the perfect dip for game day or any day that you’ll be serving up snacks.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 small/medium gently ripe avocados, pitted
  • 1/2 white onion, peeled and quartered
  • 12 jalapeno peppers, deseeded and very finely minced
  • 2 tsp garlic paste, or two finely minced cloves
  • zest and juice from one lime
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, both stems and leaves
  • 1/4 tsp cumin

Instructions

  1. Scoop the pitted avocado flesh from the skins and into a large mixing bowl. Discard the skins and mash the avocados with a fork, making them as creamy or as chunky as you prefer. Set the bowl of avocados aside.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and pulse until the onions are very finely shredded, about 20-30 seconds.
  3. Add the shredded onion/jalapeno mixture to the avocado and mix well.
  4. Serve immediately, and refrigerate any leftovers for up to 3 days.
