Description

Everyone’s favorite seasonal mint shake, but with crème de menthe instead of mint syrup!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 46 oz tub of vanilla ice cream, slightly thawed
  • 1/2 cup crème de menthe
  • whole milk, to thin as needed
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 1 TB powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Add the ice cream and crème de menthe to a blender along with about 1/4 cup of the milk. Blend on medium speed until mostly smooth, then increase the speed to high and continue to blend until creamy and totally smooth. Pour into glasses, leaving at least an inch of headspace for the topping.
  2. To make the topping, add the heavy cream and powdered sugar to a small bowl and use a hand mixer to whip on medium speed until the cream has thickened and is just barely starting to peak. You should be able to pour it.
  3. Divide the topping among the glasses of mint shake and serve immediately.
