Sweet Soy Glaze
A simple, quick recipe that packs a TON of delicious flavor! This sweet soy glaze is perfect for dipping or drizzling over homemade sushi rolls, or anything else that needs a punch of sweet and savory goodness.
As I was making sushi for dinner the other night, and subsequently this glaze, I thought it deserved its own post. Tacking it onto the back of the sushi recipe just didn’t give it the exposure it deserves.
This sweet soy glaze couldn’t get easier to make, unless of course you didn’t have to cook it. But it doesn’t take long to reduce down into thickened, saucy goodness.
While you can use fresh ginger and garlic, I love shortcuts with zero consequences. Using both ginger and garlic paste yields the same results, plus you won’t have to pick out ginger slices at the end!
